Encore Hospitality Adds Braintree Hotel to Portfolio

(Braintree, MA) July 13, 2017 – Encore Hospitality, LLC, a subsidiary of Encore Enterprises, Inc., is pleased to announce it has purchased a Hampton Inn hotel in Braintree, Massachusetts. The 4-story, 103-room hotel currently operates as a Hampton Inn, but will be extensively renovated to achieve Hilton brand standards.

“We are excited to acquire this new hotel for our growing portfolio,” said Chairman of Encore Enterprises, Inc. Dr. Bharat Sangani. “By renovating the hotel, we will strengthen our relationship with the Hilton franchise and increase satisfaction for the hotel’s customers.”

Encore plans to invest around $25,000 per room to completely renovate all aspects of the hotel including guest rooms, meeting rooms, lobby, lounge, exterior of the building, landscaping, and the pool area.

Located in Braintree, MA, the Hampton Inn is positioned off of a major intersection that provides convenient access to Downtown Boston as well as Cape Cod.

“Since this property is only one of two Hilton-branded hotels in the entire tri-city of Braintree, Canton, and Quincy, we are creating a better option for customers by renovating,” said Glenn Pedersen, President of Encore Hospitality. “We look forward to investing in the renovation of the hotel so it can add to the amenities offered by Hilton’s incredibly high distribution of units that makes it such a sought-after brand.”

Q&C Hotel and Bar Recognized as Newest Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel

The process to convert the formerly independently owned Queen and Crescent (Q&C) hotel and bar to a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel continues and we’re happy to share that the excitement has spread to New Orleans city officials.

The City of New Orleans, via the New Orleans City Council, has proclaimed the Q&C Hotel and Bar as one of New Orleans’ “Best Kept Secrets” and has issued an official congratulatory statement regarding our launch as an official Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel.

We also received recognition from the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, who congratulated the Q&C on its newly achieved Autograph Collection status and noted the hotel as a global leader in hospitality for its effort to combine old-world charm with innovation and excellence.

Encore Hospitality, LLC Buys Q&C Hotel/Bar in New Orleans, Louisiana

(Dallas, Texas) January 8, 2016 – Encore Hospitality, LLC, a subsidiary of Encore Enterprises, Inc., has recently purchased the Q&C Hotel/Bar, formerly known as the Queen & Crescent Hotel in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. The property was sold for $51.2 million by Northview Hotel Group of Connecticut who had purchased the hotel in 2013.

“The acquisition of the Q&C Hotel/Bar has been a exceptional addition to our hotel portfolio,” said Glenn Pedersen, President of Encore Hospitality. “We are currently on track to convert the development into a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel within the next six months.”

Constructed in 1913 and fully renovated in 2014, the Q&C Hotel will be branded under the Autograph Collection of Marriott International, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAR), a portfolio of iconic, independent properties celebrating individuality. Q&C Hotel’s affiliation with the Autograph Collection Hotels will connect it with Marriott’s worldwide reservation system and frequent traveler program, “Marriott Rewards,” which has approximately 54 million members.

“The Q&C Hotel/Bar is a historical landmark of New Orleans and we intend on extending its legacy as a cornerstone for business and leisure travelers, as well as serving as one of the city’s premier wedding venues,” said Bharat Sangani, Chairman of Encore Enterprises. The hotel currently boasts 196 guest rooms as well as a revamped lobby and bar area. Dallas, Texas, March 12, 2015 – Encore Hospitality, LLC, a subsidiary of Dallas-based Encore Enterprises received three awards at the Marriott General Manager Meeting held in late February for its properties in Alabama and Mississippi.

Encore’s Spanish Fort Courtyard and Spanish Fort Fairfield Inn and Suites both located in Spanish Fort, Alabama received silver awards for their Guest Satisfaction scores for 2014. To achieve this prestigious honor the hotels had to rank in the top 20% of their brand with regards to the GSS Overall Satisfaction Report.

Encore’s D’Iberville Courtyard, located in D’Iberville, Mississippi received the gold award for ranking in the top 10% of all Courtyard hotels in the nation. Encore Hospitality, LLC Buys Two Hotels in McAllen, Texas and Tampa, Florida

(Dallas, Texas) February 26, 2015 – Encore Hospitality, LLC, a subsidiary of Encore Enterprises, Inc., has purchased a Residence Inn hotel in McAllen, Texas and a Hampton Inn hotel in the Westshore business district of Tampa, Florida. Both properties were previously owned by Encore Hospitality and sold in 2007. The hotels are expected to undergo renovations over the next 12 months.

The McAllen Residence Inn features 78 rooms and the Tampa Hampton Inn features 132 rooms. Both hotels offer attractive amenities such as an outdoor pool, a business center, free breakfast, 350-square-feet of meeting space and high speed Internet.

“We are excited to once again own these hotels and be back in these great markets,” said Glenn Pedersen, President of Encore Hospitality. “We look forward to completing the renovations so our associates can continue to proudly deliver excellent services to our guests who will soon enjoy the newly renovated hotels.”

Both hotels are in close proximity to key landmarks such as airports, shopping malls, and various entertainment venues. McAllen, Texas is noted for its recent rapid growth and the affluent Westshore business district of Tampa contributes to Florida’s strong tourism industry.

Encore Hospitality Purchases 154-Room DoubleTree Suites by Hilton, Plans $6+ Million Renovation

(Atlanta, Georgia) October 2, 2014 – Encore Hospitality, a subsidiary of Dallas-based commercial real estate investment firm, Encore Enterprises, Inc., has purchased a 154-room DoubleTree Suites by Hilton hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. The hotel is located immediately adjacent to SunTrust Park, the new Atlanta Braves baseball stadium, which is slated for completion in 2017.

“We are excited to be back owning and managing hotels in Atlanta,” said Glenn Pedersen, President of Encore Hospitality. “We look forward to investing millions of dollars into the hotel so as to properly position it in the market and compete with all the hotels that have recently undergone a renovation.”

Encore plans on investing upwards of six million dollars into the remodel, including a state of the art lobby which will feature a multi-story water feature and a sports lounge.

“SunTrust Park and the Braves are anticipated to draw large crowds, and we are positioned to serve the community when this need arises,” said Bharat Sangani, Chairman of Encore Enterprises.

The deal was brokered by Hodges Ward Elliott out of Atlanta, Georgia and purchased from Inland Hospitality of Palm Beach, Florida.
