Dr. Bharat Sangani founded Encore Enterprises in 1999 as a vehicle for investors to share in the success of his real estate deals. “Doc,” as he is known by both clients and co-workers, made his first investment in real estate in 1991. He quickly learned he has a natural instinct for commercial real estate investing and began growing his portfolio. Over the 30 years that followed, Doc has built a successful private commercial real estate investment and development firm with a proven track record across multiple sectors throughout the United States. He is responsible for nearly $2.9 billion in real estate transactions for Encore and oversees every aspect of the business, from operations to financial management.

In addition to real estate investing, Doc established a sustainable private equity investment model through the acquisition of operating companies in the medical, dental, and restaurant industries, generating consistent cash flows through market instability. Doc’s personal philosophy of growing wealth has further evolved into co-sponsorships with mid-size real estate investment managers and operators, as well as being a pioneer in issuing U.S. private real estate bond offerings on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in Israel.

Admired for his relentless work ethic, Doc, along with a team of experienced, results-driven, and forward-thinking individuals, leads Encore on the principles of honesty, integrity, and fairness. Doc sits on the Boards of Directors of Encore Enterprises and Encore Properties, Ltd.

While Doc’s primary focus is on his commercial real estate business, he spent the first part of his career building one of the largest cardiology treatment centers in Mississippi and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is an active contributor to the community and is involved in various charities both locally and in India. Most recently, Doc has established Life as a Business, an exclusive mentorship program through which select aspiring entrepreneurs are given an opportunity to work closely with Doc to gain insight into building wealth and personal success.
