The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is an organization with 13,000 members within 61 chapters across 18 countries. Encore is a proud sponsor of TiE whose mission is to foster entrepreneurship globally. At TiEcon South 2014, the TiE Dallas Mentoring Program presented an American Idol style competition to pitch business innovations to the audience and a panel of judges which included Encore’s CFO Mahesh Shetty and football legend Emmitt Smith. - One of the highlights of the conference was the ‘Entrepreneurial Idol’ pitch competition. Celebrity judges like Emmitt Smith, NFL Hall of Famer and former Dallas Cowboys running back, Mahesh Shetty, CFO of Encore Enterprises, and Fred Chanslor, of the Stonehaven Group took the event to a whole new level with their interactivity and engagement in the competition.
