SAN ANTONIO (June 7, 2017) — Encore Multi-Family, LLC President Bradley Miller, Senior Director of Real Estate Services for Greystar, Jill Welborn, City Council District 1 Councilman Roberto Treviño, San Antonio City Manager Sheryl Scully, and Judge Nelson Wolff of Bexar County gathered today to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Encore SoFlo luxury apartment community.

Located in downtown San Antonio’s Civic Core at the intersection of South Flores St. and Old Guilbeau St., the project is well situated nearby several major employment centers in a fast growing, economically diverse market. The development offers immediate access to major traffic thoroughfares and a variety of nearby amenities for tenants.

“Continued job growth throughout the city of San Antonio has ensured a high demand in multi-family developments,” said Brad Miller, President of Encore Multi-Family. “The City’s commitment to the urban core for residential development and the opening of HEB’s first downtown grocery store have been game changers in promoting a downtown living experience similar to other large cities in Texas.”

Dallas Group Ready to Begin Work on Big Southtown Residential Project

Dallas-based Encore Enterprises Inc. is now ready break ground on a major residential development near San Antonio’s Southtown district. Crews are expected to begin construction on the more than 330-unit project on Wednesday.

Encore SoFlo will be built on a site near South Flores Street and Cesar Chavez Boulevard — near the H-E-B headquarters.

Ground Broken On New Downtown Apartments

More apartments are coming to downtown San Antonio.

Encore SoFlo will open fall 2018. The $60 million luxury apartment community in the 300 block of South Flores is one of the many communities drawing families, young professionals and many others to downtown.

As City Manager Sheryl Sculley explained at the groundbreaking Wednesday, it’s a goal city and county leaders have had for years.

“When we adopted this policy in 2012 we set a goal of 7,500 housing units by the year 2020 and with the addition of these more than 300 units, we’re now at 84 percent of our goal,” Sculley said.

(Fort Worth, Texas) October 20, 2016 – Encore Multi-Family, LLC, a subsidiary of the Dallas-based Encore Enterprises, Inc., is officially under contract to break ground on the first private development on Panther Island. The thoughtfully designed 233,198 square-foot multi-family community will feature creative solutions to connect the streetscape to the Riverwalk environment planned for the district. Residents will be able to enjoy exceptional amenities including waterfront balconies, an infinity pool with cascading waterfalls, a state-of-the-art fitness facility and a top floor lounge that will feature the most dynamic views of downtown.
