(Dallas, Texas) July 31, 2013 – Encore Global Investment Management, LLC, (Encore Global) a division of the Dallas-based Encore Enterprises, Inc., plans to develop multiple real estate projects in the Southern California area as part of its EB-5 Regional Center program.

The EB-5 Program was created by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) in 1990 to provide qualified foreign individuals with an opportunity to achieve permanent U.S. residency status by investing $500,000 or $1,000,000 in a business that will benefit the U.S. economy and create at least 10 full-time qualified jobs. In exchange for this investment, the investor may obtain an EB-5 Visa, providing permanent residency status for the investor, his or her spouse, and unmarried children under 21 years of age. Encore Global has been organized to attract foreign capital through the EB-5 program, with the intention of developing multiple new commercial enterprises and job creating entities located in one or more of the seven counties within the Southern California region.

Encore Global will develop, construct, operate and manage commercial real estate projects in the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, San Diego, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, and Ventura. These projects include office buildings, neighborhood shopping centers, hotels, multi-family residential properties, healthcare facilities, and entertainment/recreation facilities.

“The EB-5 Program has played an important role in alternative forms of financing for commercial real estate projects. Encore Global’s Southern California Regional Center is a USCIS approved regional center that provides EB-5 investor visas to qualified foreign investors,” said Bharat Sangani, Chairman of Encore Enterprises. “Encore Global will link foreign investors with reputable project stakeholders to promote regional job growth and build stronger urban communities in Southern California.”
