August 13th, 2013 – Encore Enterprises, Inc., a Dallas-based vertically integrated national real estate operating, development, and investment firm, is pleased to announce that the firm has promoted Matthew Zisler to the position of Senior Managing Director of Encore Institutional Capital.  He will continue to work from the firm’s Denver office where he will direct the firm’s global institutional capital placement activities.

Prior to joining Encore, Matthew was Managing Partner and Co-Founder (with Randall Zisler) of Zisler Capital Associates, a global capital raising and financial consulting firm with deep expertise in private and public real estate debt and equity.   He was Vice President of Debt and Structured finance at Buchanan Street Partners, where he was responsible for the origination, underwriting, market research, packaging and sourcing of real estate senior and mezzanine debt and equity.  He was a Senior Associate in the domestic private equity acquisition group at Heitman.  At Goldman Sachs & Co. he was a financial analyst engaged in equity derivative underwriting, risk management, and trading on behalf of institutional investors and high net worth individuals.

Matthew graduated from Boston College where he majored in economics.
